GTCFX Names Charbel Raffoul CEO After Hiring General Manager

GTCFX announced on October 19 that Charbel Raffoul had become its chief executive officer. He brings nearly 20 years of financial services experience, including work in compliance, corporate governance, financial operations, and strategic management.

Raffoul's Compliance and Financial Operations Background

According to GTCFX, Raffoul spent more than eight years at Equiti as chief compliance officer and head of financial crime. In that role, he worked on compliance frameworks and regulatory practices.

His earlier positions include director at ADS Securities, head of compliance at Alpari ME, and back office manager at Swissquote.

CEO Role and Growth Plans

As CEO, Raffoul will lead GTCFX's strategy and oversee operational capabilities, innovation, corporate governance, and international business development. He will also work to improve operational efficiency and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.

Appointment Follows General Manager Hire

Before appointing Raffoul, GTCFX hired Al Ali as general manager. Ali previously worked as a legal specialist in the enforcement department of the UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority, now called the Capital Market Authority.

His duties include supporting operational efficiency, organizational development, and internal management standards. Together, the two appointments add regulatory and compliance experience to GTCFX's leadership team.
